Founded on July 25, 1977, with totally Venezuelan capital.
From the beginning the purpose of the company was the design and
fabrication of electronic equipment in the telecommunication area,
based in its own technological developments.
Until this moment, this purpose has been accurately achieved up
to the point that it can be considered the leader industry of electronic
telecommunication products designed and produced in the country.

a reference, we will now list up the most important projects
and products made by MICROTEL in the past, which is a testimony
of its engineering and fabrication capacity: :
 Automatic
Number Identification System (ANI) for decadic exchanges and
of common control: 360,000 lines made for CANTV in 1988-1991.
Micro
120: private digital telephone exchange (PABX) of 120 ports:
45,000 lines installed in more than 1000 equipments.
Micro
1000: Private Digital Telephonical Exchange (PABX) of 1000 ports:
35,000 lines installed in more than 100 systems.
Micro
2000-R: Public Telephone Central Office for rural and urban
use with a capacity of 2,000 subscribers: 11,000 lines installed
in 41 systems .
Electronic
control for elevators: FANAS 1985-1995: almost 5,000 manufactured
and installed controls.
Designed
Correlators for cellular telephony: Fulfilled project for Bell
South International Atlanta, G.A, 1990-92.
Other
products: 2Wires/6wires converters for remote subscribers, and
interconnection of public exchanges. Professional Printed circuits
and consumer Printed Circuits.
